The emWave is a really cool biofeedback device, about the size of a deck of cards.  It measures your subtle heart rhythms and turns on a little green light when you are experiencing thoughts and feelings of joy, happiness, and well being. It allows you to experiment with your positive thoughts, and actually see how they impact your physiology.

The positive state of physiology that is associated with the green light is scientifically documented and associated with all kinds of improved health, learning, cooperation, and attention. I think that this state is the state of joy and peace that Martha Beck describes in her books, and calls the Stargazer, the core of peace, and the guidance of your North Star. I also think that the Law of Attraction encourages this state to create the life you want, and it is what Eckhart Tolle calls the witness and the compassionate observer.

I absolutely love mine–I use it almost every day. Because it clips to my ear, I can do other things while I use it. In fact I have it on as I write this. When the red light comes on, I take a little break, and practice a self-coaching tool until I get back on track, and the green light comes on again.
